REGISTRY OF REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE AGENTS

As of October 16, 2022, the Valencian Community puts an end to real estate intrusion, establishing the obligation to register in the Registry of Real Estate Brokerage Agents of the Valencian Community. Registration is public, free and mandatory. Any real estate agent must be registered in this registry if they want to intervene in a sale in the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón. Registration is mandatory, free and indefinite.

REQUIREMENTS THAT MUST BE MET

Agents must meet a series of requirements:

Location: Have an establishment open to the public or prove a physical address of the responsible agent in the case of an online agency.

Training: Real estate agents must have an official title of Real Estate Agent (API), or a university degree corresponding to a career in Social and Legal Sciences, engineering or Architecture, or a certificate of attendance and achievement. academic training courses of at least 200 teaching hours in real estate matters.

Solvency: Have a guarantee insurance for a minimum amount of €60,000 per open establishment, or €30,000, if the service is provided exclusively by telematic means.

In addition, you must have professional Civil Liability insurance valid for the entire European Union that covers responsibilities that may arise due to professional negligence.
